What is Gulf Programming Competition (GPC)?

The Gulf Programming Contest (GPC) is one of the largest and highly esteemed regional programming competitions hosting undergraduate students from Gulf countries since 2011. The contest invites students from Computer Science and other IT-related fields to compete and display their skills in designing and implementing scientific and algorithmic solutions that solve real-life problems. Using any of the following high-level programming languages: Python, C, C++, and Java, students work together in teams to create innovative solutions.

KFUPM Achievement in GPC 2023:

Two of our student teams have secured the first and second places in the prestigious Gulf Programming Competition, which took place on November 3, 2023 in Oman and brought together 63 teams from 5 different countries, making the competition intense and challenging. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and outstanding skills of our students.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the members of these two victorious teams and to express our gratitude to the faculty members who mentored and supported these teams, as well as the organizers of the Gulf Programming Competition for providing such a competitive and enriching platform for our students.
