King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals Business School (KBS) invites the submission of papers to the inaugural symposium on Islamic Finance in conjunction with the conference on Accounting, Governance, and Sustainability (AGS 2025) to be held at KBS, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Original contributions are welcomed on contemporary and future-oriented issues, ranging from FinTech and AI applications to Maqāṣid-driven monetary and fiscal policy and Sharī'ah-compliant governance frameworks, to revamping ethical and inclusive financial systems. Submissions evaluating how Islamic finance can foster growing, equitable, sustainable, and resilient economies across diverse cultural settings through novel perspectives, approaches or comparisons with conventional financial systems are also encouraged. 

The Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money (Q1, Impact Factor 6.1, CiteScore, 9.7) is intended as a potential outlet for selected high-quality papers, along with a special issue for the Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research (Q2, Impact Factor 2.8, CiteScore, 6.4)

Intimation of review results: 30 October 2025 
Regular registration deadline: 15 November 2025 
Exceptionally good papers submitted to the conference will be eligible for expedited review by JIFMIM. Additionally, the submission fee will be waived for any papers recommended for publication.
